What is Interlaboratory Proficiency Testing  (PT)?

Interlaboratory PT tests are the performance and evaluation of the same or similar measurements, tests, in which two or more laboratories take part. At the same time, the programs and test criteria are approved in advance. Participation of a laboratory in PT is an important tool for confirming competence and a means of improving the quality of test, measurement, and research results.
